Psalms is a collection of poetry inspired by the Holy Spirit. These psalms vividly express the highs and lows of life for the Israelites. They have remained meaningful through the millennia, for they put words to the variety of emotions and experiences that come when God's people seek to live out their relationship with Him in this world. Most significantly, several of the psalms foreshadow the arrival of the Messiah, the Anointed One from King David's line who would reign forever. This course groups the psalms topically rather than in the order they appear in the book.

For 2025-2026, we will study the book of Psalms. We meet on Monday evening from 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm, at Calvary Chapel, Mission Viejo or online (Zoom) Tuesday from 6:00 pm - 7:30 pm (PST). Our first day of class will be September 8. Registration fees are $35 for books and supplies. Scholarships are available.
